From humble beginnings in 2010 as a small tool store in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, we launched UK Planet Tools as a full e-commerce retailer in 2020, shifting our focus due to the success of online sales over the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now a large-scale operation with a dedicated team of 50, we’re steadily becoming one of the largest online-only retailers in the trade, shipping thousands of orders each week to a wide customer base using a state-of-the-art stock control system. We deliver quickly, too, working with the most reliable names in logistics to deliver from depot to door on a next-day service.

We’re a company that puts customer satisfaction at the forefront of our ideas, with a 4.8 Trustpilot rating and a 30-day returns policy should our customers not be 100% satisfied with their items.
We’re also all about the best prices, offering regular promotions and deals on our products every week, with something for every tradesperson to enjoy.
Where we operate
Our main offices are based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, where our old store used to be.
Now an office conversion, we’ve also acquired Unit 9 (our main warehouse) and Unit 8 on the same street to keep up with growing demand.
Our operations don’t start and end there, though: we also have offices in Ukraine, India and Lithuania and are proud to be a multinational company (we’re from 15 nationalities and counting!)

We’re pleased to sell all top brands in power tools, including Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, FEIN, Bosch, Stabila, Stanley, Metabo, Festool & more.
We also sell our own brands – TOUGH MASTER, WellCut and Drywall Master – and are proud to have over 400 unique items in our catalogue.
Collaborations
We’re frequent collaborators with many of our brands, working with product specialists to give exclusive content to our customers before anyone else.
So far, we’ve worked with Makita, DeWalt, Bosch and FEIN on new product demonstration videos for our YouTube channel, raking in thousands of views – with the expectation to work with more brands in the future.
Aside from brands, we communicate regularly with tradespeople on Instagram, collaborating on giveaways and even starting our own interview series to boost our network.
Community
Maintaining customer loyalty is extremely important to us. That’s why as of June 2023 we started Planet Tools Club, a customer-only Telegram group offering exclusive offers, giveaways, coupons, free gifts and more.
We also send a weekly newsletter via email to those signed up to our mailing list and have recently improved the design; with deals, the latest blogs and more available at the click of a mouse (or tap of a finger).
We’re very active on social media, too: you’ll find us on all popular social media platforms.

Our customers want convenience, quality and budget-friendly prices and so, that’s what we offer. Whether it’s free next-day delivery on orders over £30 to mainland UK addresses, buying now, paying later with Klarna, the best prices on the market on the UK’s favourite brands or the ability to order via Amazon and eBay, we’ve got it covered.
Where we deliver
We work with the very best couriers (DHL, Royal Mail & DPD) to deliver next day within mainland UK and within 2-3 days to offshore areas.

Future plans
We want to reach our sustainability goals and will soon be reducing the amount of packaging we use per delivery.
We’ve also recently implemented significant speed improvements on our main page to offer an all-around greater user experience and hope to continue to improve our site to better serve our customers.
