It Begins With A Mission
Tradesman Saver wasn’t always the success it is today. Much like your business, ours came from quite humble beginnings too.
Our story begins over 30 years ago. When we first came into the industry, we started out by offering insurance to businesses under our brokerage name, Henry Seymour & Co. A short time later, after the successful launch of our flagship brand, Salon Gold, we began to see a gaping hole in the insurance industry’s approach to tradesman and trade-specific businesses – a frustration that there were, at the time, no industry-specific insurance policies available for these industries available online. So, with a new vision and a new aim, we set out to revolutionise the insurance industry’s approach to tradesman and trade businesses – and thus Tradesman Saver was born.
We led waves in the industry by being one of the very first brands to offer trade-specific insurance online. With every new trade we were able to insure, our vision grew and changed. It became our mission to simplify the often complex and confusing world of insurance, and make it easier for trade professionals to get the right insurance for their trade. Everything we have done has been in pursuit of this mission and creating clear, fuss-free insurance policies for our many satisfied customers.
Flash forward a decade from its creation and now, Tradesman Saver is one of the fastest growing insurance schemes in the UK for trade professionals. We offer insurance for over 200 different trades and professions, covering a huge breadth across the industry. From builders and roofers to artists and florists, we’ve set out to make insurance easily accessible to everyone in the industry.
