A plumber–poet has released a charity single in hopes of raising money for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
Already raising thousands of pounds for the socialist care facility through his poetry publications, Cameron McIntyre is hoping to raise even more money with his new song “Facebook Christmas”.
“I want it to bug the life out of people and I want it to be played at every Christmas party across Northern Ireland,” he said.
The father of two had become involved with the hospice after a heartbreaking encounter with a young boy who lived a couple of doors away from Cameron, and was receiving end-of-life care from the hospice. Cameron was inspired by the braveness of the young boy, and has been determined to be involved with the hospice ever since.
Wanting listeners to go online and donate, Cameron is urging local radios to get behind him and the song.
The Christmas charity video can be viewed by clicking ‘shop’ on the Rec-It Facebook page where donations can also be made.
