Our story
It began in 1979 with one man, a second hand van and a bag of tools.
Situated in a basement of a local estate agents in Pimlico, the ambition was big yet simple. The aim was to change public perception on plumbing and build a reputation for being the best. We set out to do this with the basics, making sure we turn up when we say we will, with a clean van, uniform and to get the job done.
With all that covered, demand grew and a move to a bigger premises on Lambeth Road to accommodate the growing number of staff was the natural next step – it wasn’t all plain sailing though. Growing a business and making sure there is enough work to go around is a constant balancing act, however over time Pimlico grew from strength to strength and eventually an even bigger premises was needed to cater for the growing operation.
In 2000 the business purchased the now permanent HQ at Sail Street. The 30,000 sq ft building holds multiple levels of office space, a vehicle wash bay and workshop, a state-of-the-art gym and a roof terrace, the perfect space for Pimlico’s continued growth.
Over the years our vans have become recognisable all over London for their distinctive blue nose livery and quirky personalised number plates.

Our future
In 2021 Pimlico was sold to US giants Neighbourly, to join their family of brands. Both organisations are committed to delivering positive customer outcomes, through increased investment in technology, marketing and employees.
