In November last year, Tradesman Insights reported that a white van driver had paid a toll-bridge fee for a woman who was next in line. And this year, it’s a plumber who has kicked off 2022 with an act of generosity.
James Anderson, was contacted by a family of five who told him they were finding it difficult to buy food and keep themselves warm.
To help out, James spent £170 stocking up the family’s cupboards and paying their utility bills.
James’ company Depher, sees more than its fair share of poverty as it offers emergency plumbing services to vulnerable people.
When asked about the current situation in the UK he said:
“The poorest and the lowest in the country are always going to be penalised and expected to pay the most in the country out of everybody else. It’s wrong, and it’s time for a change.”
With the cost of living increasing month by month, families across the UK are struggling to feed themselves and heat their home.
Honourable acts, such as James’ demonstrate the lengths people go to in order to take care of those who need support. Look after your community and the world will take care of itself.
