Last month, Buildworld published a list of where the most trusted tradespeople live in the UK.
Using customer reviews left on Checkatrade, the construction materials supply company has calculated the top rated areas around the country.
According to the list, the top ten places where the most trusted tradespeople live are:
Buildworld also ranked the most trusted trades. However, they only included five categories saying, ‘there are a huge number of trades and specialties within the industry, we looked at just five.’
So here is the top five:
- Electrician with a score of 9.82
- Plasterer with a score of 9.80
- Plumber with a score of 9.73
- Roofer with a score of 9.72
- Builder with a score of 9.55
In a separate category, Norwich is reported to be the most trusted city to hire a builder.
With Peterborough standing tall in second place with the lowest number of total reviews. Does this mean customers are more positive about the work builder’s carry out? We’ll leave that for you to decide.
Overall, if you’re a tradesperson living in Portsmouth, you rank top for most trusted city, but fall to 3rd place if you’re a builder.
