Karma Won This Builder £50,000

Karma paid off for the builder who won £50,000 after handing in stray £30 he found at a cash machine.

Colin Banks was at a cash point when he noticed £30 that a previous customer had left behind when withdrawing money at an Asda. Like an honourable chap, he decided to hand the money into the supermarket, and shortly after he found out a £1.50 bet he placed had landed him a whopping £49,077!

“They say honesty is the best policy, and it certainly was for me. I have a big family and I’m now going to make sure we all have a brilliant time this Christmas – the best we as a family have ever had,” said Colin about his winnings.

He celebrated with “more than one glass of wine” and has already bought himself a new car with his winnings.

It’ll sure make us think twice the next time we find a £5 laying around!
